I suppose it is time to check in here before they remove me. I’m kind of hooked on Face book only because of the convenience. Type in three words and you’re up to date.lol
It is now six months since I quit smoking. I’m quite proud of that, seeing I never really wanted to quit. What is exciting is finding out someone else quit 48 days ago saying I inspired them. That is very touching and only helps when I get the craving and yes I do want one every now and then.
I have almost given up on wine since that was so closely associated with smoking for me.
That is all the good stuff about quitting, now for the down side.
I’ve gained about 20lbs which I needed like a hole in my head. Not everyone gains when they quit just us that discover the real taste of food. Lol
So now I’m on a giving up Pasta, Ice cream, and bread kick. I hope I’m as successful as I was with the not smoking.

Well let’s see what is new? There was a girl’s weekend at the cottage and I managed to go up for one night. Here are some of the pictures. I couldn’t take many at the time because I didn’t have a large enough memory card in my camera.
I will be on vacation in a couple of weeks and have some day trips planned with Debbie.
I might even look for another job. This one I have is getting frustrating. We all work hard while knowing the boss’s are putting in new windows, getting custom drapes and buying more property but has not given anyone a raise in over five years.
There is nothing like good ole greed.

I've been sewing trying to create some gym bags wish me luck.

The picture is showing a few of the fronts I have finished and the stripe and solid is going to be the back and lining for them.

My baby boy is turning 30 soon and still hasn’t given me a grandchild yet
However they will be moving into their new house in a month so maybe soon after that.
