Wow I found my way in... and Wow it's been 2 years lol have I got a lot to catch up on..lol keep looking nadine...

Christmas is just days away and I still don't really have the spirit yet. I have put out my Santas and hung a wreath my sister made me that has lights on it just to have a bit of sparkle.

I have almost completed wrapping and pretty much ready to go.

I will be spending Christmas morning with Paul, Dana and Grace and then later on I'll go to my friend Shannons for dinner. This is how we have spent Christmas for many years now. I'll see Veronica on Boxing day as she and Paul are still not on speaking terms. This of course breaks my heart and has taken the magic of chrismas away for me.

As I said before I did alot of sewing this year for gifts. I just finished making Grace a Christmas jumper and I must say to my surprise it turned out really cute! What is the really hard part is finding a plain white turtle neck for her. You would think there would be a ton of them around. I have been every where and still don't have one. I have just about everyone I know looking for me.

I also did some towels for friends. Some were initialed with a really cool font but I have wrapped them already lol and I'll have to show you after christmas what they looked like. I will show you though some that are not wrapped yet. I did these ones to the colour of the person's bathroom. The two im showing you are burgandy and red. I have worked all week and sewed late into the night and Im pretty much ready for a nap lol

I'm a day late from when I promised Mrs Blog Nagger that I would write..lol

Let's see what is new this week. Well i completed another sewing project. I made a buggy bag for my granddaughter and it looks like a huge pair of undies! I tried to buy her one but couldn't find one when we looked. This all came about because the last time I was shopping with Dana and Grace we sat her in the buggy and she flooped around. I didn't like that she was touching all that dirty metal. What you do with this is sit it inside the seat of the buggy and then put the baby in it. This is a christmas gift so don't tell Grace!!

Not too much more is new. Just keeping myself busy getting Christmas gifts made. It sure hasn't been a good selling year for machines so home made gifts it is..lol The lucky people huh lol

I haven't decided to put my tree up or not. Just seems a waste to me to go through all that bother just to tear it down again. I don't get visitors so I'm still up in the air about it. Mind you I do like my decorations and enjoy seeing them.

Ok that's it for this week, if anything exciting happens in between I'll let you know lol ...so is anyone besides Pat Nadine and Bobbi reading this? lol

It is Sunday evening and I wish I could say I accomplished alot this weekend but I really haven't. I napped a few times and that is always good.

I've been working on making a pair of curtians for my friend Shannon's new granddaughter's bedroom and they requested them with pleats. Let's just say pleats are new to me. I have one done and think I might have missed a step. While pulling them the string broke..lol Let's just hope the second one turns out better.

What I did do though is get carried away with my new embrodery machine and put " Forever Barbie" flowers and stuff along the bottom of them. The little girl's name is Daisy so I thought that would be fitting. I'm so good that way :-)

I think if I had a sewing room I would accomplish alot more in the sewing department. I get right into it when I start but soon get restless as the mess builds up around me.

10 months later...

Ok yesterday I was trying to get out of Pat what was so exciting. I wanted to join in and be excited for her as well. After asking a bunch of people I came up empty. So I did the next best thing and asked her to which she replied ... think!

I hate when I have to do that but I did because I was just too nosey to what might have been so darn exciting.

With the advice of the wise one... I thought lol and said.. I know she must of blogged.

Seems everyone still blogs lol and here I thought we all moved to facebook.

Im getting tired of facebook anyway. I once had a great time buying people and owning them then Pat took all my worth away and now it doesn't interest me anymore.

I don't have a whole lot of time anymore with working and comeing home trying to get some excersise in and seeing my dear Granddaughter Grace.

I'm sure anyone that reads this already knows about Princess Grace and what joy she gives me :-)

I only wish I could see her more then I do. I do try once aweek to go see her. It is not easy when you don't own a car and they live so far away by bus.

Anyway Im posting this to see if anyone even knows Im still here? If you do please let me know cuz hell I could just write to myself if no one is here...LOL

Wow I haven't blogged since September! Where has the time gone?
I only have a couple of months and the baby will be here. We know she is a girl and what they won't tell me is her name. I have been calling her Cornilias lol for lack of a better name.
My Christmas was quiet until the evening where I spent my time at my friend Shannons. I had a riot playing Guitar Hero and got boohed off the stage everytime I went on it ...lol However Im sure they prefered this then last year when I sang on Kereoke... or however you spell that lol
Well it is late at night and I was actually on my way to bed. I just finished reading Dini's blog and wanted to coment on it but it wouldn't let me so I clicked on my blog instead only to discover it has been this long since I have posted anything.
I will try to sit down on sunday and give you a good update with pictures. If i got really smart like Pat I would even post a video.

I'm going to be a Grandmother!

I realize I’m long over due for a blog and a few things have happened since my last entry.
Face book is where you will catch up on the little stuff with me.
The most exciting thing that has happened since I last wrote is that I’m going to become a grandmother!!!!!!!!

I cannot begin to tell you how excited Iam about this! My son swore me to secrecy about the whole thing until the first trimester was over. Well guess what? IT’S FINALLY OVER!!!!

“DANCES AROUND THE ROOM SINGING, “I’M GOING TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!”

What he made a mistake at though and I wouldn’t have changed or wanted any difference, is that he told me with about 6 weeks before I could tell anyone L
So this is the real reason I have not blogged. It would be far too hard to talk about anything without mentioning I’M GOING TO BE A GRANDMOTHER…. Hehe
So today he finally gave me permission to tell everyone because the first trimester is over and wouldn’t you know I called 7 people to yell out my excitement and every one of them were out and I got voice mail…lol just my luck..lol

Everything else far out weights the delight of this grandbaby coming into our lives.
I have been busy sewing up a storm. I have four bibs done, one blanket a few dozen receiving blankets and a soft story book….lol
Yes I’m a little excited…lol
I know what your thinking, I’m way too young to be a grandmother…lol… your right of course..lol
So now with this wonderful news out, I promise to try to back track a bit and fill you in on our trip to Punta Cana and other stuff very soon.
