I discovered face book and what can I say, it is much easier to post there then actually have to think about what is new and type it all out here on the blog. Mind you when you have something extensive to say this is the better venue.

This is the happy faces of a couple who have purchased their first home. I'm so proud and happy for them! You realize this also means I'm one step closer to having a grand baby and that in itself is reason to celebrate.

Nothing much else is new in this neck of the woods.

I seem to be spending a lot of time alone these days but I keep myself busy sewing or sleeping lol what ever calls first.

I was talking to my friend Bob last night (Sameyeam) and he was telling me that his 60Th is coming up on the 25Th of this month. Could I possibly be old enough to have friends that age?

Anyway he was telling me that his kids have a big party planned and they have gathered up all his old band buddies and with any luck the guests will get a song or two from them. If that doesn't entertain the guests perhaps the reunion of Bob's three ex wives might fill in a few slots for entertainment. LOL

What I want to see though, is the blue velvet suit that will be hanging on the wall because as Bob says "It isn't going to fit"

Remember girls, back when you danced with your date and your face brushed up against that crushed velvet and black velvet filled your nose?
