14 Days Smoke Free!

The results are in.

The MIR and ultrasound showed a blockage in my neck artery. The doctor doubled my dosage of the Aggrenox and wanted to up my lipitor as well but I whined and said my muscles ache as it is so he kept that the same.

I quit smoking on new years day and the doctor said that by doing so and with the increase of the medication the artery will eventually heal. All the toxins in ciggerettes eats away at build ups and they eventually flake off and form clots.

It hasn't been as hard as I thought but it hasn't been easy either. I still go to look for them and then it hits me.. oh ya I don't smoke anymore.

What does scare me is the weight I might gain trying to fill the void.

My sister was here for a few days because she wanted to hear from the doctor herself what he found. I think she got a bit of a shock when she heard what he had to say about smoking and although it didn't stop her from smoking I believe she will be thinking about it now.

So I'm feeling ok and I'm actually breathing a bit better.

Which brings me to the new addition to my plant family.

I think at some point during New Years I might have mentioned to Dru with all this stroke stuff going on I may never have sex again or see another penis. Well it wasn't until the last day or so as the plant she bought me started to grow did I see the humor in her gift.
You look at it.. lol ...and tell me what you think it looks like?

Ok well that's all that is new for now. Thank you for all your concern my dear friends.

hugs Sharon
