Sunday again

My goodness the weeks fly by don't they?
Let see ... What is new? Well last night was spent on the net in the channel that I had once spent so much time in.
Canadas40+ and since it was the 10th anniversary you might as well call it Canadas50+ now..lol
It was wonderful to see so many old nicks typing and making the page fly by. Thanks to Nadine and Pat for arranging that event.
My week was pretty good with no set backs in my health.
As I mentioned in my last post I had a mini stroke. They call it T.I.A. and it is caused by blood clots. I was suppose to get a call to arrange for a visit to the stroke clinic that week and before I got it I had another mini stroke last sunday. I was out with my friend Karen for breakfast when it happened. We spent sunday in the hospital and I had a catscan which eliminated any problems in my brain. The doctor even said my head was normal..lol and I have Karen as proof!
So there all who thought different..lol
I was put back on plavix and another blood pressure pill.
What was really weird is on Thursday I read an article from the American Medical Journal that said people who have had medicated stents put in should not stop taking plavix because their chances of stroke is 2 times larger. I guess I found that out the hard way.
I'm ok and I'm trying to do things differently. The smoking has to stop and besides a few cheats it is going well. I got that call at 8am monday morning and I have an appointment on the 14Th with the Stroke prevention clinic at the hospital and I'll let you know how that goes once I've been there. They will be checking to make sure I have not damaged my heart.
Other then that all is well.
I caught up on writing my Christmas cards and finishing the hand sewing I needed to do today.
I get tired pretty easy but that is to be expected until I'm use to the pills again.

Well that is about it for now, we have our Christmas party on friday and I'm looking forward to that.
